It had been raining for three days when we arrived at Noosa, and it continued to rain for another two
days. Not a gentle shower either, but 24hrs a day of solid, heavy rain. (Think monsoon and you won't be far
off!)
By chance we took the wrong road from Brisbane to Noosa, which proved to be the right road, as our first choice of
road had been washed into the sea at one point.
We had dinner with our friend Michelle on the Thurdsay night, and this was the road to her house the next time we tried to visit her.
Fortunately Michelle had an alternative form of transport available!
These fruit bats flew in over our apartment at dawn each day - hundreds of them.
This one didn't laugh at us, but the one at the Zoo did.
There must be a reason for all these people looking up at the tree ...
... and here it is!
